#505 Shorty Flatcars, two/pack (On30)

Truly the universal load carrier -- tools, equipment, boxes, barrels and crates can all use a flatcar to get them there!  The basic starting point for all the BVM "Shorty" cars, these flatcars are the perfect starting point for your own kitbashing projects.  Each kit builds (2) cars. Kit includes: cast resin frames & decks.  

  • Trucks & couplers sold separately: We suggest BVM T-2 trucks with Kadee #5 couplers.
  • GC-1 Tool set sold separately.
  • Scale measurements: 6' wide x 7' long over frames. 
  • Minimum radius: Easily operates on 8" radius, maybe even tighter! 
  • Kit requires assembly! You'll need paint, glue (ACC or 5-minute epoxy) and basic modeling tools.
